Neck Lift

Neck lift surgery is often performed together with face lift surgery, and sometimes it can be performed together with midface + temporal lift surgeries in patients who want less scarring and are suitable for this.

Liposuction is not a solution, especially in patients who do not have fat under the skin but have serious sagging or swelling in the neck area. The appropriate option is to reconstruct the deep tissues and muscles in the neck and remove the fat in the deep tissues in a controlled manner.

Particularly, patients who do not have serious sagging on the lower face and are not suitable for face lift surgery, but have sagging and folds in the neck area are patients appropriate for neck lift surgeries, which are often combined with face lift surgeries.

Frequently, scars are planned at folding points on the neck, under the chin and even behind the ear. It is often stated that there should be no incision on the front part of the ear and the scars should be planned into anatomical folds that can be hidden relatively better.

Especially in the first 3-5 days, serious edema is expected due to the reorganization of the structures in the neck area, which may cause pressure and pain in the neck.

In deep plane neck lifts, corset use is recommended for the first 7-10 days.
